Joyce Black, age 90, of Toledo, passed away January 17, 2022 at SKLD Perrysburg under the care of Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born October 29, 1931 in Toledo to David and Gladys (Benedict) Braddock. Joyce she was employed at UTMC for 20 years. The greatest joy of Joyce’s life was her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Black, whom she was married to for 48 years; son, Clayton Black; brother, Jack Braddock and son-in-law, Lewis Glanzman, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Brett) Ruhm and Christine Glanzman; 5 grandchildren and 8 great -grandchildren.

The family will receive guests, Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday, January 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, OH.
