Chonna Lynn "Chita" Ireland, age 54, of Toledo, OH passed away December 2, 2021 at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by family. Chonna was born February 19, 1967 in Toledo to Chon and Pauline (Benedict) Martinez.
Chonna had a great love for her children and family. She was selfless and would do anything to help others. On Sunday mornings, Chonna enjoyed attending services at Cedar Creek Church followed by an afternoon watching Kansas City Chiefs football games.
Chonna was preceded in death by her loving father, Chon Martinez. She is survived by her mother Pauline Martinez; daughter, Chelsea Ireland; sons, Vincent Bumpus and Domonick Farmer; siblings Tina Mitchell, Sandra Baker, Martin Martinez, Robert Martinez, and Stephen (Atanacia) Martinez.
The family will have a private service on Sunday December 19, 2021 followed by a Celebration of Life.
All family and friends are welcomed to attend the Celebration of Life on December 19,2021 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm at 125 Oak St, Toledo, OH 43605.
