Angela enjoyed music of all genres, anything from the Beetles to Christian music and everything in-between. She was often heard singing many of her favorite songs while cooking, baking, spending time with her family or performing with the choir at her church.
Angela had a strong faith and stayed active in her church, Life Chapel, as long as was possible. She was a past member of Living Word and the Cathedral of Praise. Caring for others was important to Angela so she served as a volunteer at St. Charles and Riverside Hospitals for several years.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and they will cherish their memories forever.
In addition to her parents, Angela was also preceded in death by her brother, Felix Chavez. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James L. Truby; children, Frank Truby, Angela (Michael) Cunningham and Gina Frampton, all of Toledo and Kathey Michael of FL; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
The family will receive guests Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 12 - 3:00 pm at Newcomer, Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 3:00 pm. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be in Angela's name to the Alzheimers Association.
