Jonathan B. Mininger, age 73, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at The University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on December 3, 1947, in Toledo, to the late Eugene and June (Harloff) Mininger.
Jonathan enjoyed taking walks with friends, reading, and going to lunch with his siblings. He enjoyed traveling; he had traveled to Europe, Mexico, Arizona, and California, where he would visit his cousin, Janet Barker, with whom he was very close. Jonathan cherished spending time with his family. An animal lover, he loved and adored his cats. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his son, Ryan Mininger; daughter, Megan Mininger; two grandchildren, Jordyn and Raegan; a brother, Mike (Rose) Mininger; brother-in-law, Tom Hancock; mother of his children, Michelle Mininger; his cat, Opus; and numerous nephews, great nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Marie Hancock, and former wife, Debbie Mininger. As well as two cats, Oliver and Shadow.
