On Wednesday, April 28. 2021, God called one of his angels home, Jane Lamb-McClendon, 65, of Toledo. The daughter of the late James H. Lamb and Ezaner L. Lamb, Jane was born on February 8, 1956 in Toledo, where she has been a lifelong resident.

Jane was a graduate of Libbey High School, class of 1973. She furthered her education at the Bowling Green State University, where she majored in speech and hearing therapy. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Jane was a charismatic, spirited, and loving woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to cook and was an avid collector of wicker.

She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Lamb and mother, Ezaner L. Lamb.

She leaves to rejoice in her memories, her son, Ernest McClendon Jr., twin daughters, Janelle and Janaye McClendon; one grandchild, Joile't McClendon; one sister, Karen Hubbard; ex-husband, Ernest McClendon Sr.; a devoted aunt and cousin, Arthetta Spencer and Brunu Rowe of Century, FL; three loving nephews, Horatio Hubbard, Jonathan Hubbard, and Jamison Hubbard; a very special friend and confidant, Kevin Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service honoring Jane will be held at Newcomer Cremations Funerals & Receptions- Southwest Chapel (419-381-1900) on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
