Jeffrey Richard Alexander, age 59, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born May 18, 1961 in Toledo to Marvin and Georgianna (Miller) Alexander. Jeff attended Sylvania Northview High School and became a Fabricator employed with Midwest for more than 10 years.

He was an avid fisherman and tied all of his own flies. Jeff enjoyed making things and had artistic talent. He carved and whittled many creations out of all kinds of materials. He created something he called "Crybabies" out of golf balls and each one he carved had it's own personality. Jeff saw art in everything and could envision something beautiful in many ordinary things. He was also known for the handy canes he carved out of wood.

Jeff was a loving father and grandfather, cherishing the time he spent with his family. Some of his favorite times were celebrating the holidays with family, especially Halloween.

In addition to his father, Marvin Alexander, Jeff was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Charley Alexander and brother, Scott Alexander. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Alexander; son, Mike (Tary) Alexander; mother, Georgianna Alexander; grandchildren, Jordan, Mikey, Bryson, Bailey and Makayley and brothers, Mickey and Tim Alexander.
