In Memory Of
Joseph Arthur Yerg
1938 - 2021
Joe enjoyed collecting and restoring classic cars. He was a member of the Oak Park Gang Car Club, traveling to hundreds of car shows throughout Northwest Ohio over the years. Joe was also a talented woodworker making anything from picture frames to baby cradles that the family continues to cherish. He was also known for his affinity for old western movies.
Joe was a man with a big heart showing kindness to others without question. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather enjoying the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. When it came to his grandchildren Joe would do anything for them as they were the light of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Marlene (Glynn) Yerg; daughter, Janet Yerg; sister, Mary Davis; brother, John "Jack" Yerg; niece, Carrie Bohner and aunt, Leona Fox.
