Mary A. Rinestine, age 86, passed away April 12, 2021 at Genacross of Lutheran Village. She was born May 8, 1934 in East Liverpool, OH to Charles and Mildred (McConnell) Pepin. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mary will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Rinestine; sisters, JoAnn Rice and Jean Zehender; and son-in-law, Jacob Lauer. She is survived by her children, Susan (Joseph) Poddany, Richard (Betty) Rinestine, Nancy Jacobs, Janice (Patrick Coss) Lauer and Steven Rinestine; grandchildren, Mandy (Phil Huizinga) Platzer, Jenny (Justin) Hopkins, Brandon (Annie) Poddany, Katie (Yasu) Shiji, Kelsey (Adam) Hammitt, Zach (Sara) Rinestine and Alex Rinestine; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Friday, April 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roth Memorial Cemetery.
