Carol Jean Hafner, age 80, of Sylvania, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born in Trilby, Ohio on July 20, 1940 to the late Carl and Virginia (Warrington) Schulz.

Carol was a graduate of Whitmer High School and played clarinet in the Band during her time there. On June 25, 1960, Carol married the love of her life Richard Hafner. She was an avid knitter, and loved spending time at the cabin up north, where she enjoyed fishing

Left to cherish Carol's memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Hafner; children, Michael Hafner, Peggy Jean (Tom) Kubiak, Scott Hafner; grandchildren, Ian Thomas Kubiak, Aleacia (Travis) Hitchcock, Michael P. Hafner, and Taylor James Hafner; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Michael) Solomon and Richard Schulz. Carol was preceded in death by their daughter, Sherri Sue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to Heritage Church of God.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Road, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Funeral Services will follow and begin at 1:00 P.M. at the Church. Carol will be laid to rest at a private Ceremony at Highland Memory Garden.
