Charles E. Moon, age 82, of Toledo, passed away January 13, 2021 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born July 11, 1938 in Boomer, West Virgina to John and Jewl (Crackler) Moon. Charlie attended Bob Jones University and West Virginia Tech. He was employed with St. Vincent Mercy Hospital for more than 26 years retiring in 1994. Charlie was an avid bowler, enjoyed using his computer and spending time in his garden.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Moon and brothers, Darrell and John Wayne Moon. He is survived by his wife, Fran Moon; children, Inez (Ray) Hartford, Claude (Christine) Moon, Nancy Kevern, Johnny (Holli) Stafford and Lauri Stafford; grandchildren, Jeremy, Randy, Angelique (Albert) and Raymond (Amber); great-grandchildren, Logan, Amarah, Ry Ry and Adrian; sisters, Gay Lynn Payne and Lou Anne Krueger and brother, Donald (Patty) Moon.

The family will receive guests Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 Laskey Road Toledo, OH. Funeral Services will begin Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Church. Private burial will take place at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
