In Memory Of
Sebastian "Sabby" Spencer
1965 - 2020

Sebastian "Sabby" Spencer, age 55, of Toledo, passed away November 23, 2020 at The Laurels Nursing Home. Sebastian was born July 13, 1965 in Toledo to Sebastian Mace Spencer and Eleanor Patricia Turner. He was employed with Lott Industries for many years.

Sabby was a kind and loving person who in spite of his own challenges, put others first. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and he loved to dance. Everyone knew his signature dance move was the "Stanky Legg" and when he did it, it brought everyone to a roar of excitement and smiles, "You go Sabby !"

Sabby was a part of the Rainbow Day Program for many years. He enjoyed going on field trips of all kinds, some of which included baseball games at the Mud Hens Ball Stadium, various Put-Put greens, bowling alleys and everything in-between. His favorite foods included Mac & Cheese and Soda Pop.

Sabby made friends throughout his life, holding those friendships for years. His Staff and Caregivers were very important people in his life and he was grateful to have them with him day-in and day-out. Those folks were also happy to be a part of his life and they showed that in the love and tenderness they provided him without question.

He is survived by his "best bud", Simon McNeal; Vender Pringle, who was like a Mom to him and many other Staff Members and special people who became friends of Sabby through Rainbow Homes.
