Julie lived to love Jesus and serve those around her. She enjoyed life: whether it was through traveling, food, coffee, or playing the flute. Julie was known to have a beautiful smile and caring personality. Julie graduated from The Ohio State University, with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. She worked many years with Campus Crusade for Christ. Julie received her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. She loved taking care of her pediatric clients.
Left to cherish Julie's memory in their heart's are her mother, Gloria Adelphia; father, Lloyd Adelphia; step-mother, Rosie Rosswurm; sisters, Jean Adelphia-Long and Jenna Adelphia; brother, Jerry Jewitt; and 11 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to Christ the Word Church, 3100 Murd Road, Sylvania, Ohio 43560.
Family will be receiving guests Friday, January 24, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617 (419 392 9500). Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ the Word Church, 3100 Murd Road, Sylvania, Ohio 43560. Internment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Maumee, Ohio.
