Eupomucena "Siony" Morales, age 73, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 with her loving and devoted family by her side at Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Toledo. She was born on May 16, 1946 in Laurel Batangas, Philippines to Colastico and Paulina (Magsino) Magsumbol. Siony graduated from National Teachers College in Batangas and was a 2nd grade teacher in the Philippines. When she was 25 years old she came to the United States to start a new life and in 1974 she went back to the Philippines and married the love of her life, Ramon Morales. Shortly after they married they welcomed their twin daughters, Liezle and Liza Morales.

Siony was a strong willed, independent woman who worked hard to have a good life for her family and her self. She was a wonderful wife, mother, "Mama" to precious grandchildren, sister and dear friend to many. Siony loved the comfort and friendship of the Filipino community in Toledo, many events, dinners and gatherings were had and memories were made. She was a great cook but her most requested dish was cucumber salad and egg rolls.

She was a member of Talisay Association of Toledo and St. John the Baptist Parish. Siony worked for 30 years at Reichart Industries, later retiring.

Left to cherish her memories is her devoted husband of 45 years, Ramon Morales; daughters, Liezle (Stephen) Morales and Liza (Joel) Morales; precious grandchildren, Ilani and Leyla. Siony was the youngest of 10 children and is survived by her brother, Olempiano Magsumbol and a Host of Dear Friends - too many to mention but know you were loved by Siony!

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) with a Funeral Service starting at 6:00 p.m. with a Novena Prayer Service to follow.
