Charles McKeown obituary: Charles McKeown's Obituary, Toledo
In Memory Of
Charles J. "Chuck" McKeown
1944 - 2019
In Memory Of
Charles J. "Chuck" McKeown
1944 - 2019
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sheryl McKeown; son, Sean (John) McKeown-Young and Kristin (Mark Sentle) McKeown; grandchildren, Aidan and Jameson McKeown-Young, Addison and Harper Sentle; sister, Patricia (Ricardo) Beltramello; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles died very suddenly, laughing with his wife as he attempted to prove himself right, an activity that would put a huge smile on his face. The family is comforted that he didn’t suffer and left this earth surrounded by love and happiness, which he greatly deserved.
Charles was intelligent, kind and generous. He was truly a ‘man for others’ who will be remembered by his children and grandchildren in the vast knowledge, determination and compassion that he passed to them. He will be deeply missed by the family who loved him dearly.
He’ll be remembered as his son attempts to teach his own sons how to fix their cars and homes.
He’ll be cherished by his daughter and granddaughters when they’re taking a hike, on an adventure, laughing at something silly or dancing as only grandpa could.
He’ll be held dear by his beloved wife as she goes on without her best friend and confidant.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo 43614 with Memorial Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. at church. An open house will follow at the McKeown-Young home, 2114 Bridlewood Dr., Toledo, Ohio 43614 from 1:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Charles loved the outdoors. We’ll feel him most when surrounded by nature’s beauty and peace. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Church or the Ohio State Parks:
