Douglas E. "Duke" Booth, age 73, of Northwood passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was born in Welch, West Virginia on March 21, 1946 to the late Clarence and Roxie (Griffith) Boothe.

Duke was an avid Horse Shoe player, loved playing cards especially Eucher. He graduated from Welch High School. In Duke's earlier years, he moved to California and received a position as a Machinist with Chrysler Corporation, which later transferred him to Perrysburg, Ohio. In 2007 he retired after 38 years to spend more time with his family.

Left to cherish Duke’s memories are his children, Douglas Jr., Michael, Angela (Brandon) Lautzenheiser, and Todd Booth; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; along with other family members and special friends.

Preceding Douglas in death is his loving wife, of 45 years Yvonne Booth.

Family will be receiving guests from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., (419 381 1900). Funeral Services will begin at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with interment following at Lake Township Cemetery.
