Richard Bethel was the bravest man I have ever met. He loved our country and he loved his grandkids and his family. Grandpa raised us to the men and women we are today. Richard didn’t want anything from anybody. Grandpa would give everything away just to see his family and friends happy. Richard was a devoted father to us all. Richard loved his sons Rick, Dave, and Randy. He loved his sons and raised them so they would work hard and give us kids a perfect life. Richard brought holiness to a world of evil. The only regret I have in life is not being able to spend more time with my grandpa Richard. My grandpa is my hero in life. Richard served America and served America with honor. Richard now serves the heavens and god by watching over us and protecting us from evil. Richard will always be with us by being in our memories and our hearts. I will always love you grandpa and thank you for everything. My grandpa Richard is a man of honor. So honor him by loving him forever. Thank you to everyone who loved Richard and believed in him just like he will always believe in us. May a great patriot Rest In Peace. Thank you and thats one hell of an amen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Burn Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio in Richard's memory.
