Robert J. "Bob" Warner
1949 - 2019

Robert J. “Bob” Warner, age 69, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 31, 2019 with his wife by his side. He was born May 3, 1949 to Clifford “Kip” and Charlene Warner in Toledo. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. He was an engineer with the railroad for many years before retiring. Bob loved cars, especially corvettes. He loved feeding the birds and the company of dogs and cats. Bob loved nothing more than spending time with his family, but his grandchildren meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barb Warner; children, Robert Warner, Lynn Warner, Shelly (Melissa) Warner-Hersey, and Becky (Travis) Pearson; grandchildren, Lorelei and Asher; mother, Charlene Warner; sisters, Nancy Warner, Jeanette (Joe) Gleason and Susan (Neil) Van Walbeck; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Warner.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 12 – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
