Sharon Lynn Morrison, 65, of Sylvania, Ohio, was delivered into the arms of the Lord on March 4, 2019.

Memorial service will be held at Northwest Christian Church, Temperance, Michigan on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Gathering with family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. and memorial service will begin at 11:00.

Sharon was born in Toledo, Ohio to Lowell and Charlotte Ankney on July 22, 1953. She graduated High School at Sylvania Northview. She married the love of her life, Frederick David Morrison on August 27, 1971 in Toledo, Ohio at Epworth Methodist Church. She became the loving mother of three children and went on to graduate magna cum laude from the University of Toledo in 1986 with a degree in registered nursing.

She began her career as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She served a number of years there while touching many lives along the way. Sharon lived for helping others, and would go out of her way for
the patients she cared for throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, gardening, traveling and camping.

The Morrison family would like to extend our gratitude to the hospital staff of Monroe Hospital, for the care and comfort that was given to her. Sharon, being an RN, would have been extremely proud of those who assisted her through this difficult time. Also, the outreach and benevolence from family members and friends is outstanding and can’t be described in words.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Addyson Morrison.Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Fred Morrison; three sons, Matthew, Eric, and Brett; sibling, Mike McNeal; and grandchildren, Isaac & Madison, Lindsey & Elaina, and Ally & Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Pregnancy Center of Greater Toledo in Sharon’s memory.
