In Memory Of
Timothy Lee Berry
1946 - 2019
After graduating from Woodward High School, Timothy joined the U.S. Navy and spent three years on the Destroyer Robert Owens. He then returned, attending the University of Toledo, and Spring Arbor College, for computer and business studies. Timothy joined General Motors Powertrain-Toledo, where he worked for 40 years, retiring in 2008.
In 1974, Timothy wed Susan Gail Stalter of Perrysburg (who preceded him in death in 2010.)
Timothy became active in Masons and was raised to Master Mason by the Sylvania Pyramid Lodge in 2004. He remained active until succumbing to illness.
Timothy is survived by his fiancé Dr. Irene Skulas, and their “fur children” Lauren, Lizzie, Princess, and Rocky.
Friends may pay their respects from 10-noon on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Newcomer Funeral Chapel, on Heatherdowns Blvd, off Cass Road, in Toledo, Ohio. Following visitation, a Masonic Memorial service will be held at noon. Burial directly follows at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Memorial donations in Timothy’s name may be directed to the Wood County Humane Society, the Toledo Area Humane Society, or the Cherry Street Mission.
Timothy was a caring, remarkable man who will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched. May his memory be eternal.
