Charles Anthony Turner, age 57, of Toledo, passed away on December 29, 2018. Charles was born August 23, 1961 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Charles and Monetta (Welch) Turner.
When Tony was a young boy he enjoyed playing baseball, football and participating in Boy Scouts. He loved taking walks with his father and they would go daily to the Wildwood Preserve until the passing of his father. Tony also was a newspaper carrier for the Toledo Blade in Toledo, Ohio, where he resided at the time of his passing. He loved music and enjoyed playing old records. He loved taking car rides with his family, reading encyclopedias, playing chess, and fishing; all things he learned with his father.
Tony was preceded in death by his loving father, Charles Turner and grandparents. He will be greatly missed by his Mother, Monetta (Welch) Turner; Brother, David Turner; Sister, Jennifer Lynn Turner; Uncle, Doug Turner; Aunt, Debbie Booth; many cousins, extended family and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Ave., Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with Chad Moore Officiating. Interment will follow in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens, Lawrenceburg, TN.
