Mrs. Carmela R. Mabry, age 55, of Toledo, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. She was born July 29, 1963 in Toledo to Curtis and Charlene (Thompson) Boykin. She graduated from Scott High School in 1981 where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Daryl Mabry. Carmela was a professional Dog Groomer for more than 30 years. During her career, she worked with Sylvania Veterinary, the Pet Farm and the former MCO.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene (Thompson) Botkin.

Carmela is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Daryl Mabry of Chicago, IL; son, Milan Mabry; grandson, Milan Mabry, Jr.; father, Curtis Boykin of Olivebranch, MS; step-mother, Yvonne Boykin; sister, Crystal Carswell of Kissimmee, FL, mother-in-law, Bonnie Britten and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900), where a Memorial Service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
