Mary Ann (Huss) Clark of Maumee, OH passed peacefully from this life with family by her bedside at the age of 81 on December 6th, 2018.

Mary Ann was born in Toledo to Edward & Martha (Buzalski) Huss on September 24th, 1937. She was the 3rd of 4 daughters, Barbara Waller, Margaret “Margie” Renard and Elizabeth “Betsey” Huss. Mary was an honors student graduating in 1955 from the Notre Dame Academy. She was a talented seamstress, taught at Jesu Catholic School before marriage, and later in life worked for Hickory Farms, Minnesota Fabrics and as a nursing care provider, in retirement she tutored children in math at Arlington Elementary.

Mary was the wonderful wife, partner and best friend of Daniel E. Clark for 62 years. She was loving, caring and supportive beyond measure and an excellent example of how one should live life! She will be remembered with affection by many to include children, Christopher (Cheryl), Philip, Michelle, Martin, Kevin & Karen and Eric; grandchildren, Jacob & Daniel, Wil & Drew, Justin & Jina (Roberto) Meza and Michael; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Mariana, Roman & Angelo; nephews and nieces, especially Ellen Verstraete & Cheryl Bourland; loyal friend Diane Lamb & supporters of Carlo’s teachings; and numerous other family & friends.

The family wishes to thank all the caregivers who made life easier in her final days and would like in lieu of gifts or flowers that donations be made to a charity of their choosing or by simply sharing an act of love & kindness.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday December 12th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. & Cass Rd., Toledo, OH.
