Tina M. “Bird” Orner, age 57, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 15, 2018 at home with loving family by her side. She was born June 30, 1961 in Toledo to William and Marie (Cullum) Geiser. She worked at Major Kleen Laundromat for 10 years and made a lot of friendships while there. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, enjoyed cooking, music and dancing. Tina loved being in the sun or outdoors in a pool. She always looked forward to spending time with her children and grandchildren. Tina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Cullum. Tina is survived by her children, Galen (Josie) Orner, III, Heather (Jim Chinni) Orner and Gregory (Tiffany) Orner; grandchildren, Jonathan, McKayla, Austyn, Paityn, and Zayne; siblings, Carol, Paul (Darlene), Paula, Hope (Danny), Kathy, Bill and Joe (Judy); former spouse and father of her children, Galen Orner, Jr.; many nieces, nephews and numerous special friends.
There will be no visitation or services per Tina’s wishes. A Private Family Celebration to honor her life was held. Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider American Cancer Society.
