Barbara A. “Barb” Sonner, age 82, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Franciscan Care Center with her loving family by her side. She was born June 20, 1936 to John and Hattie (Filipowicz) Danielak in Toledo. Barb worked as a secretary in Vital Statistics at the Toledo Health Department, Canteen and Dormer Twist Drills from which she retired after many years of service. She enjoyed playing numerous card games, shopping, bingo, golf and gardening. Barb was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Garden Club in Perrysburg. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, John Sonner; and brother, Donald Danielak. Barb is survived by her husband, Dean Sonner; daughter, Cynthia (Rick) Calcamuggio; son, Timothy (Terri) Sonner; grandchildren, Timothy, Todd, and Tyler Sonner and Stacie (Luke) Honan; great-grandchildren, Nadia, Olidia, Sophia, Isabella and Samantha; sister, Joan Webster; 3 nieces; 1 nephew and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
