Marilyn Jean Rife, age 89, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday morning, November 10, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Toledo. She was born on December 16, 1928 to Floyd and Loretta (Hoelter) Ruch in Luckey. On July 17, 1948 she married the love of her life, Keith E. Rife. Most important to Marilyn was her family; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and mother-in-law, she took great pride in taking care of them. Marilyn had a kind heart for all animals, especially her own beloved pets. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church and always appreciated their kindness and Pastor Al's friendship over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Keith E. Rife. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve (Tracy) Rife and Janelle Rife; grandson, Sean Rife and half-sister, Carol Holland.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe St., Toledo, OH 43613 where the family will visit with friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Al Swartz officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH.
