Donna J. Spalding, age 73, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Swanton Health Care. She was born on February 13, 1945 to Denver and Dorothy May Link in Toledo. Donna was passionate about her family, friends, the Lord her Savior, crocheting and of course Elvis! She was a simple woman who devoted herself to her family, she especially enjoyed her grandchildren and will be remembered for her stubbornness and never being short on words.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Baker, James (Diane) Baker, Kim (Bruce) Holtzman, Ken (Carmen) Spalding, Kevin (Tiffany) Spalding; Audrey (William) Walker, Greg (Terry) Spalding, Laura (Bill) Thompson and Cindy (Mark) Langston; many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, David (Margaret) Link; sister, Susan Whaley Rhyne and extended family, friends and wonderful neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence "Larry" Spalding and grandson, Shawn Walker.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with her Funeral Service beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018 in the funeral home. Pastor Ruben Villanueva officiating. Interment to follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Hospice.
