Mabel A. "Bubsie" Kaltenbach
1929 - 2018

Mabel A. “Bubsie” Kaltenbach, age 89, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Friday, October 19, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born July 27, 1929 to William and Ruth (Hall) Davis in Rossford, Ohio. Mabel worked as a secretary at Regina Coeli School for 34 years before retiring, also being a lifetime member of the church. Mabel and her husband Al often enjoyed camping, going line dancing, and watching hockey games. Mabel enjoyed garage sales, playing bingo, and collecting antiques. She liked watching gameshow network and antique roadshow. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alfred Kaltenbach. Mabel is survived by her loving children, Robert (Doris) Kaltenbach and Cheryl (Lawrence) McHugh; grandchildren, Heather (Keith) Smith and Keith (Shawna) Kaltenbach; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Derek, Riyen and Tyler; sisters, Viola Weis and Judith Griffith; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at Ft. Meigs Cemetery.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Ohio Living Hospice.
