Mary E. Marsh, age 81, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 24, 2018. She was born on December 13, 1936 to William J. and Elsie (Kurth) Birr in Toledo. Mary was married to the love of her life, Charles L. Marsh for almost 60 years before he passed in 2015.

She was a stay at home mom who raised four wonderful sons. Mary loved taking trips to the casino, playing cards with family, keeping in touch with friends on Facebook and she never missed her favorite soap opera - Days of Our Lives. She always looked forward to Sundays, highlighted by attending church with her granddaughter Sarah.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; sons, Charles "Chuckie" and Michael Marsh; brothers, Edward, Robert and Irving Birr and sister, Lona Sobecki.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Daniel and Thomas (Lori) Marsh; grandchildren, Mandy, Rebecca, Sarah, Taryn, Madelyn and Parker; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Kathy) Birr and daughter-in-law, Sue Meyers.

Loving thoughts go out to her special daughter, Susie Meyers and to granddaughter, Sarah for always being there.

The family will receive guests on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 2820 W. Alexis Rd., Toledo, OH 43613 with her Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brenda Peconge officiating.
