Joan “Jo” Goodell, age 77, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 16, 1941 to Orv and Bert (DeShetler) Morse in Toledo, Ohio. Jo enjoyed crocheting, sewing, needlepoint and shopping. She loved her cat, Angel. Jo liked to take care of her yard and her independence. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family especially her grandsons and great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; sisters, Margie and Elaine; and granddaughter, Jenna. Jo left to cherish her memory her loving children, Debbie and Robert (Tawnny) Goodell; grandsons, Dylan (Katlyn), Logan (Parker), Louie (Kristine) and Tyler; great-granddaughter, Kylie; siblings, Jim (Carol) Morse, Tom Morse, Murlin Ducat and Bonnie Harrison; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 2 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
