David Milo Hinckley, age 85, of Sylvania, passed away September 19, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. David was born June 20, 1933 in Jackson, MI to Paul and Anna Hinckley. He was an agent with Nationwide Insurance for more than 25 years retiring in 2000. David served in the US Army from 1954-1956. He was a graduate of St. Mary High School, Jackson, MI and Michigan State University. David was an active member of Little Flower Church, Moose Lodge in Sylvania, Club 16 in Holland. He liked to golf, enjoyed traveling especially visiting many casinos across the U.S. and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Hinckley, children, Denise (Michael) Wallace, Scott (Elizabeth Bornstein) Hinckley, Paul (Shaela) Hinckley, Cynthia (Steven) Fouss; six grandchildren; one great grandson and sister-in-law, Irene Hinckley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive guests Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd. (419-392-9500). The family will greet guests Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Little Flower Church, 5562 Dorr St.
