In Memory Of
Stephen L. "Stevie" Grabke, II
1982 - 2018

Stephen L. Grabke, II, age 36, of Swanton, OH passed away unexpectedly September 10, 2018. He was born August 20, 1982 in Bowling Green, OH. His father, Stephen L. Grabke Sr. personally delivered him in their home – his mother, Georgia E. Grabke. Stephen was a sensitive, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. Everyone liked and loved “Stevie” for his warm smile, sincere kindness and compassionate spirit. Stevie will be unmistakably, deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Stephen L. Grabke was a devoted, loving husband to his wife, Shannon Grabke. They became friends, (3 years), engaged (1 year) and married for 14 years. Stevie always expressed to his children – his deep love for Shannon, their mother and that he never wanted them to forget it. He greatly loved all his children and spent time with each one of them – like catching frogs and fishing. It was the simple things in life that mattered – bringing great joy to him.

Stephen L. Grabke was the youngest of the 4 Grabke children. He was home schooled by his mother the majority of his primary education and the last year or so – he finished his high school education at Anthony Wayne High School – receiving his diploma. He was extremely intelligent and mechanically inclined. He had a dry sense of humor – quick wit.

He was a good, talented trumpet player. He and his father accompanied together and played in church many times. He loved horses, hunting and fishing. When he met you, he had a big smile and genuine warmth - that touched you. If you were struggling with hardship and pain – he would graciously try to comfort you – family and friends. Stevie was very polite and respectful to people. He loved his father, mother, sisters, brother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins – his entire family and friends.

Stephen L. Grabke worked with his father at Steve Grabke’s Body Shop for 7 years. Afterwards, he went back to school, Owens Community College. Eventually, he went to work for Pro Pack as a team leader. This last year he started working for Rosenboom Machinery in Bowling Green as a certified welder. He was so excited to work there and he really loved his job.

On June 12, 2018, Stephen L. Grabke and his wife, Shannon N. Grabke made the greatest decision in their lives – they both humbly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior with his Dad, Steve and Janette in the office. They all had a very special relationship.
