Willa Dean Smith, age 89, of Maumee, OH passed away August 31, 2018 at her home. She was born May 6, 1929 in Lafayette, TN to Guy and Bertie (Doss) Wooten. Willa was employed with Toledo Building Services and Gladieux Catering.

Willa is survived by her sons, Barry (Debbie) Smith and Jeffrey (Gwen) Smith; grandchildren, Shane (Rachael), Krissy (Chris), Amie (Andy), Clint, Steven (Kim), Guy (Rebecca) and Valentine; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Samira, Addison, Willa, Guy, Jr., Franki and Cashton; sister-in-law, Shelia; step-siblings, Sue, Shirley and Wayne. In addition to her parents, Willa was preceded in death by her husband, Johnson Smith; brother, Follis Wooten; and nephew, Robert Wooten.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Willa's memory.
