Richard Craig Knapp, age 62, of Temperance, passed away July 9, 2018 at home. Richard was born December 11, 1955 in Toledo to Donald and Mary (Felix) Knapp. He was employed with Chrysler Jeep for more than 29 years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors especially to hunt, fish and tend to his vegetable gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Susan M. Richardson Knapp; daughters, Sarah L. (William J.) Scroggs, Kelly M. (Ali M.) McVay; sister, Pamela (Daniel) Erickson; brother, Michael Zak; brother-in-law, Ronald Navarre; sister-in-law, Patty Knapp; six grandchildren, Kenna and Lainey Scroggs, Anaya, Ali II, Jade and Mila McVay and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Knapp, mother Mary Zak; sisters, Cheryl Navarre and Kathy Knapp; brother, Thomas Knapp.

The family will receive guests Friday, July 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 7:00 pm. at the funeral home..
