Wilma D. Kowalinski, age 74, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo with her loving family by her side. She was born February 2, 1944 to Clyde and Josephine (Hurtt) Bauman in Bradner, Ohio. Wilma retired from the U.S. Post Office after many years of service. She was an avid reader and loved the Detroit Tigers. Wilma enjoyed watching the true crime shows and being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Florian “Floyd” Kowalinski, Sr.; and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Wilma is survived by her loving sons, Florian “Floyd” Jr., Scott “Skit” (Kristine) and Terry (Sharon) Kowalinski; grandchildren, Vince, Michayla, Alexander and Savannah; great-grandchildren, Jacoby, Mason and Arrabella; sister, Shirley Williams; brother, Edward “Butch” (Earline) Bauman; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

There will be no visitation or services for Wilma per her request at this time. Newcomer – Northwest Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
