Andrew "Andy" Don Edwards, age 70, of Ottawa Lake, passed away May 7, 2018 at The Toledo Hospital. Andy was born May 26, 1947 in Bismarck, ND to Alton and Margaret (Kelsch) Edwards. He was an entrepreneur, business owner and worked at several refineries and power plants within the US. His passion for travel introduced him to many creative opportunities such as art publishing, gold mining and he was a collector of many unique artifacts. Andy was a very generous man. His sense of humor and knack for storytelling were unsurpassed. He put passion in everything he did. Andy's life was full of adventure and he achieved anything he set his mind to. He was a dedicated, faithful and loving husband. As a father, Andy, set a certain standard and raised two wonderful children. He taught them how to live a full life and loved them dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Salvi Santa Ana, children, Cristy (Michael) Samuel, Don (Cassie) Edwards, brother, Tom Edwards, sister, Jeannie Edwards Erwin; grandchildren, Tyler, Zachariah, Tristin, Amelya, and Gracy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Joann Magner and brother Jim Edwards.

The family will receive guests Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 1:00 pm. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Andy's memory.
