Robert L. Snyder, age 80, of Swanton, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. He was born July 31, 1937 to Charles and Florence Snyder in Toledo. Robert worked for Lyons Transportation Lines Company for many years before retiring. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing darts, was an avid bowler, camping and spending time with family and friends. Robert was always willing to lend a helping hand and a jack of all trades. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives Susan and Carol; and brother, Jerry Snyder. Robert is survived by his children, Carol (David) Lucio, Jennifer Snyder-Lemle, Mark (Kelley) Snyder and Kimberly (Michael) Quintana; grandchildren, Sarah, Angela (Jason), Brian, Colton, Rob (Victoria), Stacey (Zac), Alex, Susan (Chad), Siehra (Jess), Austin, Justin and Nicasio (Kelli); 15 great-grandchildren; brother, David (Georgia) Snyder; and other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
