Ruben Fonseca, age 68, passed away on April 10, 2018. He was born on October 15, 1949 to the late Elena and Damian Fonseca in Halls, Tennessee.

Ruben was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a hard-worker his whole life and retired from Neville’s Landscaping. He played softball for many years. Ruben loved old Western movies and Investigation shows. He adored his grandbabies and his dog, Cheyenne.

Left to cherish his memory is wife, Kathy; children, Ruben Jr. (Tammy), Arthur, Damian, Jesse (Kris) and Brandi (Kristopher) Lyons; siblings, Sammy (Leticia) Diaz, David (Hilda) Diaz, Janie (Emilio) Lopez, Raymond (Lannie) Fonseca, Lupe Fonseca and Adela Hill; grandchildren, Ruben, Logan, Sophia, Corine, Austin, Hannah, Matthew, Christian, Mason, Thomas, Ashley, Damian, Jose, Isiah and Alex; great-granddaughter, Lilli. Ruben was preceded in death by his sister, Adelina.

The family will receive guests on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
