Robert “Bob” McCormick, age 82, of Sylvania, passed away into the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. He was born December 16, 1935 in Toledo. Bob worked at Toledo Edison for 33 years before retiring. He was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church serving in different capacities. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and most of all birding.
He liked being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Darlene McCormick; children, Daniel McCormick and Jean (Jonathan) Modene; and grandchildren, Rachel (Kip), Abigail, Bethany, Evan, Sarah, Matthew and Hannah.

The family will receive guests on Friday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 5501 Jackman Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43613. Interment will take place in Toledo Memorial Park.
