Bob retired from Jeep Corp. after 45 years as an Automobile Technician and was one of the oldest Jeep Retirees. Bob and his wife, Pauline enjoyed camping in the Eastern and Midwest United States with the "Inside-Outers" camping club. He also loved euchre, crafts, bowling, fishing, swimming and more recently was known as the “Singing BINGO King of Waterford Commons. Bob loved spending time with his family, especially Family Reunions and Christmas morning with his grandchildren. His family will miss his singing, humming and “taste” for life.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of almost 71 years, Pauline; sons, Robert “Bobby” (Jan) Reef, Randy (Ann) Reef, John (Christia Klink) Reef; sister, Rosemary (Jim) Vestal; sister-in-law, Delcie Reef; grandchildren, Ryan (Kelly) Reef, Amy Coale, Julie Feltman, Kristy (Kyle) Bridgman, Kelly (Dave) Thielen, Jayson “Tate” (Amanda) Reef, Jennifer Schultze (Chad Herrig), John (Katherine) Reef, Cameron Reef; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Dick and Glen Reef and sister, Dolores Wheeler.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Troy Township Cemetery in Luckey, Ohio.
The family requests memorials be made to: The American Cancer Society.
