1934 - 2017

Thomas D Haulund, 82 of Maumee passed away on Monday November 27, 2017, with full confidence in eternal salvation and a sincere hope to attain it. Tom was born in Toledo Ohio November 29, 1934 to Alvin and Gretchen (Hoffman) Haulund and was a 1952 graduate of Maumee High School.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, his beloved wife of 16 years, Marjorie; mother of his children, Sharon. Tom is survived by his children, Christopher (Vanessa) Haulund, Jonathan Haulund, Anna (Paul) Cygnor, Mary Haulund Napolitano, Gretchen Haulund Noden, Peter Napolitano and Nicholas (Jules) Haulund and 11 grandchildren.

Tom was a 25 year member of the Maumee BG Elks Lodge 1850, FOP lodge 40, Sons of the American Legion Post 320, The Rossford Eagles, life member of Adams Conservation Club, National Rifle Association, National Muzzle loading Rifle Association, and special Deputy-Lucas County Sheriffs Dept.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday November 30, 2017 from 3:00 PM-7:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Panikhida will begin at 7:30PM. The Funeral Service will be held at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 738 Glenwood Rd., Rossford on Friday December 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Maumee next to his wife Marjorie immediately following the funeral.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the church.

"It has been a wonderful rewarding experience for 82 years and I have confidence it will be even better for eternity in the presence of the Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ! See you on the other side!"
