Carol Jean Hibbs, age 70, of Toledo, passed away November 25, 2017 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born June 22, 1947 in Toledo to Harold and Margaret (Newkirk) Hennessey. Carol was employed with St. Vincent Hospital for more than 2 years. Carol enjoyed bingo, avid NASCAR fan and coloring. She also enjoyed going to the casinos.

Carol is survived by her children, Tammy (Robert) Horton, Doris Hawkins, Tracie Brown and Dean Hibbs; grandchildren, Joseph (Katy), Coleeta (Nick), Tammy, Bobbi Jo, April, Stephanie, Brittany, Ronny Mae, Autumn, Adam, Harley, Zack, Devin, Caleb, Alyssa and Braden; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Ed) Bryan, Patricia Geraghty and Sherri Hahn; special niece, Denise Martin and cousin, Marvin Lewis. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Dee Dee Martin; grandson, Justin Castor; favorite aunt, Ethel Lewis and best friend, Richard Drouillard.

The family will receive guests, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
