Phyllis Ann (Lauharn) Manke, born May 2, 1944 in Toledo, OH went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2017, aged 73, residing in Jacksonville, FL. She, in her thoughtful ways, made our house a loving home. As her body dimmed, her spirit shined brighter and her witty humor never faded. Through her expressions of love, she imparted a legacy of light within our hearts. Phyllis had a great love for family and enjoyed music and dancing. She was an avid bingo player and cherished the friends she found there throughout the years. She was welcomed home by daughter, Carrie; parents: David Roy and Oca Edna Lauharn; siblings: Billie, Mary, Kenny, Bobby; and many other loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael Manke, Sr.; 4 children: Tammy Manke, Brigitte Hess (Chris), Nicole Grummel (Jim), and Michael Manke, Jr (Tamara); 12 grandchildren: Russell Rogers, Justin Boley, Matthew Jenne, Carrie Boley, Phyllis Jenne, Julia Grummel, Tori Corrado, Derrion Grummel, Jalen Grummel, Ariana Manke, Evey Manke, and Corbin Manke; 2 great grandchildren: Lily Gniech and William Burgess; siblings: Jeanie, Patty, Susie, Mike, David, and Shirley; and many niblings (nieces and nephews). There will be a grave side service at Toledo Memorial Park on November 27, 2017 at 1:30p.m. Overseen by Newcomers Funeral Home.
