Marguerite “Peggy” Mae Humbert, age 96, of Walbridge, Ohio, went home to be with the LORD December 1, 2014 at Lakes of Monclova. She was born June 15, 1918 in Fremont, Ohio to Bennett and Sabra (Adams) Humbert. Peggy graduated from Scott High School in 1936. She was employed with the Ohio Bell Telephone as an Operator and Supervisor for more than 30 years retiring in August 1981. Peggy was a member of Trinity Grace Brethren Church, the Pioneers Retirement Club of Ohio Bell and the Bible Study Fellowship Day Class. Peggy enjoyed walking and was very active in her church and in the lives of her adopted grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her great nieces, Linda (Lynn) James, Marsha (Richard) Doolin, Debra (George) Auger and Karen Rooks; dear friends, Douglas and Mary Davisson, "adopted" grandsons, Andrew Davisson and Michael Davisson; "adopted" granddaughters, Kimberly Bruhl, Annette Schwerkoske and Jennifer Davisson. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Humbert; sister, Helyn Oberle and nephews, Donald Scott Medley and Lee Medley and great nephew, Lee Medley Jr.

The family will receive guests, Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Grace Brethren Church, 4035 Williston Road, Northwood, Ohio. The Memorial Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Raymond Davis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Grace Brethren Church in Peggy's memory.
