Ronald J. “Ron” Karpinski, age 60, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 where he was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on May 7, 1954 to Arthur and Jeanne (Young) Karpinski in Toledo. Ron was an avid bowler and euchre player and most important to him was spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Cindy Haidar-Osman and Walt (Judy) Karpinski; step-children, Timothy (Nora) Squire, Paul Squire and Krisandra (Albert) Trejo; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren;special sister in law, Nancy Tapp; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kermitta in 2013.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of the flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
