Ruth E. Hundsrucker, age 71, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Clare Commons, in Perrysburg with her daughter by her side. She was born on June 25, 1943 to Harold L. and Esta Marie (Campbell) Hamlin in Huntington, West Virginia. Ruth was an avid cat lover and enjoyed crocheting. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Reynolds; and brothers, Harry, Bill, Herb and Robert Hamlin. Ruth is survived by her loving daughter, Tracy (E.J.) Fortain; grandchildren, Emma, Tyler and Ellianna Fortain; sisters, Marge Pritchard and Betty Hamlin; and brother, Don (Linda) Hamlin; former spouse and friend, Denny Hundsrucker; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Don Reynolds.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Senior Independence Hospice.
