1930 - 2014

Beverly A. Wonnell, age 83, of Maumee, Ohio passed away peacefully, October 23, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. She was born October 27, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to AC and Beatrice (Brubaker) Morrin. Beverly retired from Maumee City Schools. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. Beverly enjoyed playing cards especially bridge as well as a new fondness for the Candy Crush game, but the greatest love of her life was spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by her children, Lisa (Dan) Wonnell-Chizmar, Jeffery (Lorri), Steven (Joy), Timothy (Debbie Spencer), Daniel (Betty) Wonnell; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Betty Morrin. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wonnell; son, Mark Wonnell; and siblings, Robert (Dorothy), Vernon (Mary), William (Alice), Lorin (Irene), Arlen, Eileen and Geraldine.

The family will receive guests Monday, October 27, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 12:15 pm. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee.

The family would like to thank ProMedica Home Health Care and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their loving care of Beverly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church in Beverly's memory.
