In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arthur C. Gifford, Jr.; two sisters, Margaret Laas and Bonnie Rogge; and brother, James Thomas. Anna is survived by her brother, William (Peg) Thomas; sons, Douglas (Lily), Lawrence (Sueellen) Gifford and Robert (Jackie) Snyder; grandchildren, Tamara (Dwight), Bridget (Steve), Matthew (Jen), Laura (Jack), Rebecca (Ashish), Todd (Jennifer), Donald (Kathy) and Aaron (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Jessica (Timothy), Kristen, Cameron, Jordan, Aubrey, Miranda, Madison, Ian, Isaiah, Amber and Nathan; great-great-grandchild, Makaylah and one on the way; and many other relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Dendarah #10 Services at 6:30 p.m. and the Ladies Auxiliary Conn-Weissenberger American Legion Post 587 Services at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be begin Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mayfair Plymouth Church, 5253 Bennett Rd., Toledo 43612 with visitation one hour prior in church. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Heartland Hospice.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the staff and caregivers at Heartland Hospice and Heartland of Perrysburg for all the love, care and support given to Anna and her family through this difficult time.
