Linda S. Castilleja, age 67, passed away peacefully in her home on October 18, 2014. She was born on September 9, 1947 to the late Mariam and Charles Speelman in Toledo, Ohio.

Linda was devoted to her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Linda was an avid reader and loved cooking. Most importantly, she lived for her family and always took good care of them.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death in 1996 by her husband of 31 years, Martin; sister, Frances and sister-in-law, Kelly. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Roxanne, Michelle and Martin Jr. Castilleja; grandchildren, Amanda, Charles, Chad, Brittany, Harry, Haleana, Taylor, Haley, Rebecca and Amelia; great-grandchildren, Martin, Natalia, Cianna, Joseph II, Brooklynn, Brianna, Josiah, Isabella, Jay’Cion; brothers, Bill (Ranne) Speelman, Walt Speelman and David (Amy) Speelman; sisters, Judy (Lupe) Medina and Peggy (Ron) Ramm and many other loving family members.

The family will receive guests on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
