Mary Alice Campbell of Toledo, age 60, passed away October 16, 2014 at St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family and friends. Mary was born July 18, 1954 in Toledo to Francis and Loretta Gallagher. She was employed with the Barr Nunn transportation company for more than 12 years retiring in 2003 to care for her father in Arizona. She was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School.

Mary enjoyed gardening, music, crocheting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed living life on her own terms without limits. Mary was generous to a fault and was a caregiver for many people over the years. She battled bravely and with dignity throughout her fight with cancer. Mary had a tremendous sense of humor and shared it with everyone she met.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Jerome Kizer, children Michael Gallagher, Colleen Rafferty and Patrick Campbell, mother Loretta Gallagher, mother-in-law Delores Kizer and father-in-law James Kizer, siblings Nora (Bob) Schmersahl, Patrick (Tracy) Gallagher and Kathleen Gallagher, brothers-in-law James Stanley (Gwen) Kizer and Terry Kizer, sister-in-law Theresa Galespie, 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and life long friends Hermina Forbes and Denise King. Mary is preceded in death by her father Francis X. Gallagher.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 7:00 pm. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
