Linda L. Daly, age 59, of Toledo, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25, 1954 to Lester and Mary Slawter in Toledo. Linda loved crafts of all kinds. She loved nothing more than the time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Linda enjoyed late night phone conversations with her siblings.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, John Daly, February 2005; brother, James Slawter. Linda is survived by her daughter, Angela M. (Jason) Daly-Nietrzeba; son, John J. (Jennifer) Daly, II; grandchildren, Morgan, Amber and Justin Daly; brothers, Ray (Sue) Gremminger and William (Doreen) Slawter; sisters, Fleeta Lemay, Helen (Massoud) Ketabian, Cindy Cook, Cathy (James) Meek and Doris (William) Slawter-Weinstein; brothers-in-law, George Thomas (Livia) and David L. (Donna) Daly; sisters-in-law, Mary (John) Horn and Derissa (Jeff) Wurm; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Private Inurnment will take place at a later date.
